BTW, where can I downlaod new SVN of branch 1.0? I can only find 1.1 at http://www.ethereal.com/distribution/buildbot-builds/win32/

This sounds like the problem with the BER dissector verifying the
indicated ASN.1 length is sane for the current packet. There is a new
BER preference (referenced from the LDAP preference tooltip) to
disable this checking. That might solve you problem.
