[Ethereal-users] Differentiating between windows and unix host

Hi everyone,

I'm currently learning how to perform packet analysis
for a networking project and have a question that i
hope your can help me with.  

Am I able to identify the OS platform from the data
ethereal provides?  Perhaps there are certain
attributes which are unique to windows and unix which
would tell us which OS the host is running on?

Alternatively, if specific identification is not
possible, perhaps there are some tell-tale signs of
the OS the host is running on?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so
much in advance.
