[Ethereal-users] RE: will not launch: no fonts found / fontconfig problem

Hi,

Just FYI.

I was having a "No fonts found" problem with a new install of 
ethereal via darwinports on 10.4.2.  "sudo fc-cache" I did not help. 
I did a google and found the following message in a mailing list 
archive ...

... which didn't seem answered.  Anyways, I finally got around the 
issue by doing a "sudo port -d selfupdate" to update darwinports and 
then a reinstall.

I actually did a "sudo port uninstall ..." and then a "sudo port 
install ethereal", but I get the feeling it wouldn't've made a 
difference if I hadn't uninstalled, because after the darwinports 
update, I go a different set of packages.
