[Ethereal-users] TCP States

Hi All,

 

I am working in network traffic analyzing team. 

 

1) While configuring ethereal tool for network data analysis (dumping into raw files and then turn output into the specific format) didn?t find any column for getting the TCP protocol state.

   Is it possible to get the TCP/IP states ( example : FIN , SYN , ESTABLISHED ) ?

 

 2) How to avoid converting the well known protocol number into names. For example, I need the protocol number in the output for tcp as 6.
