Ethereal-users: June 2005

Hello all:

Is it possible, and if so how, to detect packet loss of a SIP VOIP call using Ethereal?

Hi,

You need to select one of the packets and then go to menu "Analyze", option "Decode As" -or use the "Decode As" in the context menu-, specify the port number and the protocol.

 Francisco

I know that the port number "5060" is used for SIP.

However, the port number of SIP which I captured with ethereal is always not "5060"

For above reason, I want to know how to discriminate SIP packet among UDP packets in ethreal?
