I noticed the same issue, and it has since been fixed.

For the time being, you can either use an SVN version from buildbot:

http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/ethereal/buildbot-builds/

or under the RTP/RTCP preferences, enable the "Try to decode xx outside of
conversations" checkbox.

Is it only tethereal, or also ethereal that doesn't show the packets?
Have you got a trace you can post?
