for me (admittedly under Win32, but that shouldn't matter).

I'm using ethereal 0.10.8 - perhaps your version is too old to support 
RTP heuristics ?

Running with WinPcap (3.0 alpha3) on Windows XP Service Pack 2, build 2600.
