RE: [Ethereal-users] V0.10.5 & 0.10.6 Crash On startup with Win98

Hello all

As a first-time user, I also installed the last versions of Ethereal of 
WinPCap and also experienced the same pb on Win98.

I removed the asn1.dll from the plugin folders, and it nows works like a 
charm. I suppose this plugin to be buggy with Win98.

One question : Where to get information to write its own "protocol 
decoder" ? Does it have to be embedded in Ethereal itself or can we use 
a plugin for that ? Where can I find a skeleton or a sample code for that ?
