Extensiuon should be .tr1 for LANalyzer

 

Both Sniffer 1.1 and 2.00x should be supported.

The book "Ethereal Packet Sniffing" (Syngress) indicates that Etherpeek can read the following file formats

that you can generate with Ethereal.

 

-libpcap

File must have .dmp extension

 

-Novell LANalyzer

File must have .t1 extension

 

-Network Associates Sniffer (DOS-based)

File must have .enc extension

 

-Network Associates Sniffer (Windows-based) 1.1

File must have .cap extension

 

-Network Associates Sniffer (Windows-based) 1.1

File must have .cap extension

 

The book also mentions that Ethereal cannot save files in Etherpeek format.
