[Ethereal-users] File has 392010-byte packet, bigger than maximum of 65535

I cannot open some capture files, when ethereal tries to open them, it shows several frames (12 packets) and I receive this error:

 

 

It seems like ethereal reads the rest of the file as one frame.

Is there any possibility to recover the file, or at least frames after the damaged one?

I tried to truncate the frames with mergecap –s option but it stops in frame 12, so I loose the rest of the information.
