[Ethereal-users] Capturing error packets

Hi,
I have read that NIC drivers filter out packets with physical errors. Is
there a list of supported network cards/drivers that can be used to capture
error packets (CRC errors etc) on either Windows or Linux. Also if Ethereal
sees error packets can it report the error conditions detected within the
packet. I am looking to baseline the errors on our LAN segments.
