Title: RE : instruction at "0X00da127a" uses memory address "0x0000000". Memory can't be read

If I may be more specific: I have the same error message whatever the Ethereal version, and without winpcap. The debugging info says "unhandled exception in ethereal.exe (ADNS_DLL.DLL); 0xC000005: Access Violation"

Objet : instruction at "0X00da127a" uses memory address "0x0000000". Memory can't be read

I have this error message when I close Ethereal after analysing a capture file.
For full information I am on W2K, I installed Ethereal 10.4 and I have tried it with winpcap 3.0, 3.0.alpha4, and 3.1.beta. All create the problem.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Rgds,
