There already exists such an option.  It's in "Display->Options", I 
think, in current versions of Ethereal, and in three menu items in the 
"View" menu in current CVS Ethereal and thus in future releases.

However, it doesn't cause the summary list of packets to be 
re-generated, so it only affects

	the packet detail display (and doesn't even affect the current packet);

	the summary list *if* it's re-generated for some other reason, e.g. 
changing the display filter.

Perhaps it should cause the summary list to be re-generated.
