an ASCII file? guess if you're using ethereal you know an MP3 file is not ASCII - could it be that there's in an issue on the handling of control characters?

 

so we would end with the conclusion that nothing is wrong with the capture, but the way you're saving the file.

Then I try to play the file. It works but the mp3 is short! Where are the lost bytes?
