Then *PLEASE* report this problem to the WinPcap developers:

Eventually, WinPcap 3.0 will be released, and it might become impossible
to get 2.3.  If that happens, and it causes crashes and 2.3 doesn't, it
might then be impossible for some Windows users to do any packet
capturing with any WinPcap-based applications, so you *really* want to
help the WinPcap developers try to fix the crash.
