[Ethereal-users] RFMON question

Hi all,

I am using linux 7.3 with kernel 2.4.18-3 and an Cisco Aironet Air PCM350.

I am trying to turn the unit into monitor mode as described in the FAQ, I
have tried the echo command and cannot change the mode using "Mode: rfmon"
or "Mode: y" I can however use echo to turn the radio on and off which gives
me some hope that I am on the right track.

Any ideas, have they changed the mode commands?

When associated Ethereal works fine as far as I am aware, I used the
faslehope RPMS if that helps.

Just a warning I am new to Linux.
