[Ethereal-users] Problems with capture

Hi

 

I have installed ethereal on WIN NT4 and on win98SE. Neither works. On win98 I get a dialog box that comes up that says "The capture session could not be initialised (Error opening adaptor: system could not find the specified path.) I have not specified a path. I was using interface PPP with no other settings as I wanted to view the traffic real time.

 

On WinNT4 I get a dialog box with a Exclamation Mark in a grey circle and it says Error! Once again no parameters specified and there is nothing in the Interface box.

 

I have installed 0.9.6.

 

Looks like configuration but I can not find anything to set. Obviously looking in the wrong place.
