[Ethereal-users] Question regarding the playback capability of the Ethereal

Hello ,
I am working on ethereal in my project here . I have a question regarding
one of its features.
I want to capture the packet or the frame in the ethereal and save it in a
file and then edit it or make changes to the fields in the packet or the
frame and then playback like send them back for processing.
My question is how can I do that.
Like how can I capture the frames and edit them and send them back.
Is this capability of playback supported by ethereal.

I'd appreciate if you can help me with this.
