[Ethereal-users] file config.h

I am sorry if this is a basic question but I wanted to find the file config.h but I could not. I understood that it is 'generated automatically by configure' but I do not know what it means. 
I have found:
config.h.in
config.h.win32
config.nmake

Can somebody explain what does it mean ? 
Where can I find the plain config.h ?
