[Ethereal-users] New user looking for dissector cookbook

I'm a relatively new ethereal user, and am very impressed with what 
I've seen so far. I was attracted to ethereal by the prospect of 
writing a dissector (is that the right term?) to decode some 
proprietary protocols (over UDP) for my day job.

I did some digging around, but I haven't found anything that 
resembles a coherent document on writing dissectors. Any pointers 
would be appreciated.
