[Ethereal-users] 0.9.4 bug? cant save full intf name in capture prefs

Pardon me if this has been addressed, and please cc
me on any reply.

ethereal 0.9.4 win32:

I choose an interface from edit->prefs->capture->
interface dropdown list such as "D-Link DFE-530TX+ PCI Adapter: DLKRTS".  Press apply and save.

Problem: now (and after any restart) capture->start->interface will show just "D-Link" as the default.  Pressing OK to begin capture will give an error message about this being an invalid interface.

Apparently the edit->prefs->capture dialog is only saving the first word of the string (indeed it writes only "D-Link" to the prefs file).

I can still go to cap->start->interface dropdown and choose the full intf name which will work.  Just can't save it to prefs properly.
