[Ethereal-users] extracting etehreal-base-0.9.3-1.i386.rpm

Dear Sirs
my compliments for your product that I find very useful and very
interesting.
I'm running Linux Suse 7.0 distribution on an Intel PC. I've downloaded
from your website the last release ethereal-base-0.9.3-1.i386.rpm.
The problem is that the rpm program available on Suse 7.0 is unable to
install ethereal-base-0.9.3-1.i386.rpm.
The error message reported is the following:
ONLY PACKAGES WITH MAJOR NUMBER <= 3 ARE SUPPORTED BY THIS VERSION OF
RPM
ERROR : ethereal-base-0.9.3-1.i386.rpm cannot be installed.
The version of RPM I'm running is 3.0.4
What's the solution to this, I suppose stupid, problem?
