[Ethereal-users] Online Capture to File?

How are yuo?

May I ask a short question please:
I am using Ethereal on Microsoft OS and I want to do a longterm capture.
Therefore I need ethereal to save the captured data online to a file on the harddisk.

Is this possible?
How to configure Ethereal to do this?

If it´s not possible with an Microsoft OS, would it be possible with e.g.Linux?
