Yes (if the packets were sent over Ethernet, that is...).

Only if the capture file that Ethereal read included the CRC as part of
the frame.  Captures done *by* Ethereal do *not*, as far as I know,
include the CRC on any platform, and I suspect captures done with a
number of other packet analyzers don't do so either.  There may be
analyzers where it is included, but I don't know what ones they might be
(possibly some versions of Network Associates Sniffer).
