It seems to me that there ought to be a Win32 build of 0.9.0 Also, the source code copy of 0.9.0 does not have the bison/python builds done as seems to be traditional, so building from source code requires sed/bison/python. This is not the case with 0.8.20, where the .c files have all been built, so you just need VC++. I have done the build, but I don't know what would be required to create the installation executable. -- Richard Urwin, Software Design Engineer Ricardo Test Automation Braemar Court, 1311b Melton Road, Syston, UK. rurwin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: Motonori Shindo [mailto:mshindo@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 30 December 2001 12:41 To: danp@xxxxxxxx Cc: ethereal-users@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [Ethereal-users] 0.9.0 Win32 build? I have placed an almost up-to-date Win32 build at ftp://ftp.mshindo.net/pub/tools/ethereal-setup-20011230.exe It's NOT a "0.9.0" build, rather it's a bit newer than that. I am updating the build on almost a weekly basis (but pls don't count on it too much:-)). If you just want to get the latest one, you can get ftp://ftp.mshindo.net/pub/tools/ethereal-setup-latest.exe since this is always a symlink to the latest build on this directory. Enjoy!
