Hi, I would like to know what protocol does the ethertype 0x886D stand for. I have searched for it in RFC1700 under assigned numbers for ether types but could not find it there. I have a captured frame containing the ethertype as 0x886D that I want to decode. ff ff ff ff ff ff 00 06 29 4f 6e be 88 6d 00 01 00 01 e8 3e 46 00 01 00 00 06 29 4f 6e be 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 Thanks in advance.
