hi, 1) on the subject of graphical output: are there methods to represent specific infomration like the TCP sequence numbering in a timegraph? 2) is there a method to get the actual WINSZ of TCP sender from the TCP implementation (I know it is not in the packets itself) best regards, > Jaap Bolt > System engineer > _____________________________________________________ > ericssonl > > Wideband Radio Networks > > Ericsson Euro Labs Netherlands BV > Institutenweg 21 > 7500 AP Enschede, The Netherlands > Telephone: +31534505136 > Fax: +31534505148 > > E-mail: jaap.bolt@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: Richard Urwin [mailto:RUrwin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 13 September 2001 11:15 To: ethereal-users@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [Ethereal-users] export analysis Three ways: 1. Capture an image of the window using a graphics application. 2. Print as text to a file, open the file in a text editor, copy the text to the clipboard, create a new image in a graphics app, select the text tool and paste the text in. 3. Print the analysis as postscript to a file and then load the file into a graphics app as encapsulated postscript (.eps) Method 3 is the easiest if you have the right tools around. My Paintshop pro 4.12 SE doesn't support .eps (or .gif!) GSView (GhostScript Viewer) can convert a postscript file to jpg. When I did it just now, a single A3 page came out as a 2.9MByte file representing 99MBytes of image, but it was a 16M colour image which can be reduced to 2 in a graphics app. giving a 4.1Mbyte image. GIF is probably the way to go. For the shareware package GSView, see http://www.ghostgum.com.au/ (Sorry you got this twice, Simon, damn Micro$oft software sends to the individual by default even though the reader window shows the list address.) -- Richard Urwin, Software Design Engineer Ricardo Test Automation Open House, 3 Watling Drv., Hinckley, UK. rurwin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: s.parisi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:s.parisi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 13 September 2001 09:06 To: ethereal-users@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [Ethereal-users] export analysis hello can someone tell me how i can export analysis from ethereal to graphic files like jpg or so. thanks a lot Simon .....................................................
