WildPackets - formerly the AG Group - who sell packet analyzer software for Windows and MacOS, have a number of links from the "Networking Resources" page: http://www.wildpackets.com/resources which might be useful. Check out the Technical Compendium page to which it links; it has links to papers that might be of interest.
