[Ethereal-users] Capture file format conversion problem.

I have developed a Win32 application that uses the WinPcap driver to capture 
files from a live network and read libpcap format capture files.

I want to read with my app some capture files that are formatted in a 
generic network sniffer (DOS) format, so I used the editcap utility from 
ethereal to convert the format to libpcap, although tcpdump and windump are 
able to read the converted file my application can't.

I tried to read the converted file with both tcpdump and windump and produce 
a second capture file using the -w option. My application was now able to 
read the file generated from tcpdump but not the one from windump. Does 
anyone have any idea, why is this happening?
