Ethereal-users: June 2001

Coupla possibilities.

1)  You need to link libsnmp.so -> libsnmp.so.0
2) You need to rerun 'ldconfig -v' (as root).

Subject: [Ethereal-users] libsnmp.so.0 on 8.18-1

I am installing Ethereal for the first time via RPM on Redhat 7.1. I am
trying to install the base rpm and I get the error libsnmp.so.0 is needed.
I checked /usr/lib and it is there (linked to libsnmp-0.4.2.so). What am I
missing?
