[Ethereal-users] Running SNMP under RH 7.0.(no flames, please)

I've  read the SNMP comments that mentions skipping over RH because of
problems with the RPM. My problem is that I've hand installed the UDC
snmp library (4.1.2). Can you suggest any mods for the packet-snmp.c
file I can make that won't break the rest of the code?

Sorry for such a stupid question, I'm a perl programmer. I've never
coded in C.
