That depends on the operating system you're using, and the CPU on your machine. At http://www.zing.org/download.html#binaries is a table of the places we know of where binaries of Ethereal can be found; however 1) not all OSes on which Ethereal can be run have packages available for them (although it *might* be the case that the Red Hat RPMs can run under other OSes - although one OS on which they do *not* work is Red Hat 6.2, thanks to a binary compatibility problem with UCD SNMP 4.1.1, which is the one that comes with 6.2); 2) the packages aren't necessarily available for all the processor types on which the OSes in question run; 3) the packages that are available may not be packages of the latest version of Ethereal - or even a recent version.
