[Ethereal-dev] Installing ethereal in Mandriva Linux 2006

When I try to install the package ethereal-base-0.9.16-1.RH9.i386 it says 
that it cannot be installed because libcrypto.so.4 is not installed... this 
file is from OpenSSL as I understood. I've done "make" and "make install" at 
the OpenSSL source code but the error persists.
What should I do to make ethereal run in my Linux box? What packages should 
I install? Does ethereal comes with the GTK interface and is callable from 
the command line as "ethereal"?
