[Ethereal-dev] doubts

Hi list,
I am nimalan,who asked for help regarding
libethereal.so undefined reference to my proto.c
After reading the list archieves,I found these two
questions related to my doubt.....I also write answers
as in my case so that it might be easy for anyone  to
help me out.
 
Do you get the object files from your sources? So if
you have epan/dissectors/myproto.c do you get a
epan/dissectors/myproto.o?

yes, i get object files with .o extension after i do a
make and is stored in the same directory as my
packet-proto.c and .h file. 

Is myproto included somewhere in the file
epan/dissectors/register.c?
I can see that my proto and my proto register handoff
are included in register.c which says that it is an
automatically generated file.

Has anyone had the same problem before,if so please
let me know how to get through this error.I cant
predict even the reason for this error as iam new to
ethereal.I lookforward for someones  help at the
earliest.
