Reasonably.  I'd say "keep in mind that a lot of people" or "keep in 
mind, a lot of people".  I think

applies.  (I found that through a Web search, BTW; I haven't studied the

I suggest insert "but": "after the first line shown above, but it will 
not be echoed".  Also, there's still the swapped -d and -f in the second 
stage of the pipe.
