[Ethereal-dev] Question on tools for building Ethereal

Hi all,

Some tools used for building Ethereal have already been optimized. For
instance make-reg-dotc.py is already used in MS build environments. How
difficult is it to select the optimized tools for building Ethereal
depending on the available tools? For example, if python is available in my
build environment, when I run ./configure should it choose the optimized
python scripts instead of common shell scripts?
