I'm grateful for your note. I am afraid that it was rude of me to have
sent all that without checking the current files. Please try to
consider it a back-handed compliment: ethereal 0.8.4 is such
a high quality application that I could not imagine its changing
much before the 0.8.5 release!

Since then, I have downloaded a CVS version and shall keep up
to date.
