Presumably being similar to "ethereal -k -i <interface> -S", with
"Automatic scrolling in live capture" selected in the "Display Options"
window, but with no detail or hex panes, etc., and possibly without the
menu bar or status line.  (Would there be a button to stop the capture
and make it go away, or would you just do that from the window manager,
assuming your window manager lets you kill off windows?)
