[ethereal-dev] ethereal-0.7.7 - hangs in recvfrom() on RH6.1

I've built the recent versions of ethereal on RH6.1, but when
I try capture, they just hang - strace/ltrace shows that it is
is making a call to recvfrom().

Any binaries built on RH5.2 work ok on the RH6.1 system.

This is with a home built 2.2.13 kernel.

Any ideas? (or suggestions of further info I can provide?)
