Indeed. Some people say that the only difference between SDLC and HDLC
(which is where LAP and LAPB came from) is that one starts with S and the
other starts with H :-)

It would be good to be able to handle Frame Relay as well, which has a very
simple structure that is similar in some respects to LAPB etc.
