[ethereal-dev] new code and virtual absence

I checked in some new code for the display filters. It should act the
same as the previous code, with only a few new features.  Since it's
using lex now and not GScanner, I had to take care of a few housekeeping
items in lex that I didn't have to worry about before.  I've tested it
a bit and it seems to behave the same, without any errors or segfaults.
But I'm developing using X windows over a 33.6 Kbps modem line;
testing is slooow.

The only reason I'm explaining all this is that tomorrow, Sunday,
August 1st, I will not have e-mail access; the Lotus Notes server
at work is being upgraded. So if my code is really broken,
bear with me... I won't have e-mail access, but I'll still have
cvs access.
