[ethereal-dev] Protocol Specification Languages

Hi,

I recently presented on Ethereal and received some hints about someone
working on a specification language.

I have also found out about SDL (Specification and Definition Language).
There is a freeware version of some tools available, but the licence seems
too restrictive, so I will have to give that a miss.

Anyone know of any specification languages, with perhaps some parsing tools
out there?  That way I can concentrate on writing the back end only ...
