Hi, I give TCP/IP courses, and Ethereal is just what I need for a UNIX-centric environment. I can use Linux as a UNIX-like environment, and Ethereal as my packet capture utility. However, I need more protocols. As per my previous EM, I now have TFTP under control, and it is a much better job than NetMon give you :-) However, I also need the following: FTP, SMTP, POP, SMB, HTTP (both to port 80 and to other ports via proxies). Is anyone thinking of doing them? I am planning to work through these protocols, but if anyone has one underway, I want to skip to others so there is no duplication of effort.
